Dick Harrison is a lifelong writer, ghostwriter, scriptwriter and just about every other kind of wordsmith he could be. He began writing professionally when he was fourteen and still hasn’t stopped, more than half a century later.
His ghostwritten books have earned critical acclaim including “Excellent…delightful book…sensitive and perceptive” from The New York Times, and he’s been honored with hundreds of creative awards.
He has written shows for PBS and The Discovery Channel and articles for magazines including Town and Country, Cosmopolitan, Field and Stream and many more.
Dick has lived and worked in the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico, and has worked on assignments in Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Haiti, the Netherlands Antilles, the Bahamas, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, England, France and South Africa.
He has lectured at universities from California to Puerto Rico, presented seminars on writing and creative technique and taught professional communications certification courses.
